[Dcmosls] Digital Media recommendations

Good morning to all,

I am seeking suggestions before purchasing:

*digital cameras; they will be used primarily indoors for student
projects and to create images for our website, and 

*a digital video camera for the library and for use during assemblies.

If you have any particular models or brands to suggest that you have
found reliable, affordable and produce nice images--please let me know
off list.
