Good morning- 

Attached you will find a resolution that SLMS has written, requesting support for library systems and the school library materials aid increase. We are asking each local to approve this resolution which is to be presented at the NYSUT Representative Assembly (RA). The deadline to submit a proposal is January 19. 

The resolution is in both Word and .pdf format and there are directions on how to pass a NYSUT/NEA resolution in your local. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Marcia Eggleston at megglest at nncsk12.orgor egglesto at twcny.rr.com. 

We can help by sending this out ASAP to council, liaisons, and other school community members. The local teacher's association must approve it by early January in order to meet the deadline and with the holidays and snow? (it's in the 60's today) upcoming, it's best to get this to the union president now.
