Categories for the Professional Development Reflection/Action Step and Impact Survey
These categories will be use to collect data in a data base to inform our instruction (staff development, technical assistance, follow-up etc.).  We do not want to have an overwhelming number of categories for tracking.  Some where between 10-12 or less.  Once we finalize this list for September 2006 we have the option to pilot this tool for a few months and then look at the data we are collecting and make changes to categories if we deem necessary. 
 
1.	Summative Assessment 
It was a very informative liaison meeting. I heard alot information in this meeting. I was glad to see that the SLS and the admininstrator will be talking and hearing about some of the stuff we are hearing about. I am still really trying to put all the information I learned about into the right catagories for my needs. It was nice to see how many liasions were there at this meeting. We do not have this many usually. It was nice to see everyone.
 Formative assessment
Like I said before it was very informative and I learned thing I did not know. I also was aware of many of the things exsplained in the meeting. 
 Researched based instructional strategies 
Not much on this subject except when you pulled in the reading specialist and she had another twist on reading. Plus her thoughts on how we become the dropout recovery people it was an interesting thought.
 Unit/lesson planning 
I could see how the united streaming would be a great asset in this field.
 Curriculum Mapping 
Again this was not directly talked about but I could see where we would be able to include this piece with the united streaming and lessons planned.
