Dear Mr. Brock,

My colleague Starr LaTronica has suggested I contact you concerning a book
donation.

The Four County Library System was given copies of an anthology of poetry
about cancer.  This book was edited by Martin Willitts, Jr. through a 2007
Chenango County Council of the Arts Individual Artist Award and is entitled
Alternative to Surrender:  Poems that Deal with Cancer, Survival from
Cancer, Death from Cancer, with Loss and Recovery.

When I accepted the books, it was with the understanding each of our member
libraries makes its own decisions about accepting donations.  Any remaining
copies would be offered to the schools in our service area.

We have 19 copies of the book left.  Would you be willing to accept them for
the schools in your area?  Our delivery van could deliver them before the
holidays.  Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
