[Dcmosls] Volunteer needed to chair or co-chair February 7 Liaison meeting

Hello;
 
The DCMO SLS, absent a Coordinator, very much needs one or two volunteers to coordinate with Rebecca Dixson to Chair the February 7 liaison meeting and professional development. 
 
This is not a lot of work. The cracker-jack team from OCM SLS is planning to run most of the day showing off the benefits and success of their award winning PALS program - Partners in Achievement, Libraries and Students. Go to their Website for more background information.
 
Other than that, you would want to open the floor to discussion of important issues affecting DCMO SLMS.
OCM may need a 10 AM to 2 PM time slot, rather than the usual 8.30 to 11.30, due to travel considerations, so the volunteer(s) may want to schedule a short demonstration, discussion, or book-talk in the morning, with a meeting in the afternoon.
 
This is a great opportunity to show off, share, demonstrate, or take a leadership role. There may be a new coordinator hired starting very near this date - the interviews are scheduled for January 14.
 
Please let Rebecca and I know if you can help with this essential pivotal role.
