I am forwarding the free trial information from Facts on File Databases
to the DCMO BOCES listserv. Please share this information with your
teachers. Contact me with questions concerning access, content, or
prices.

 I do now have the generic trial site available for all the SLS/BOCES
units. The URL is www.facts.com/sls. No user name or password is needed
to access the trial, although there is an initial log-on to the site, in
which the schools will be asked to identify their BOCES unit in addition
to their school affiliation. This information is needed primarily so
that I can easily know where to go if I need clarification on an order
further on down the road.  All database trials and subscriptions do
include unlimited usage and free remote access so your members can feel
free to share the URL with their staff and faculty. It will be available
for 60 days so you can make available at your convenience.
 
The available databases include all four independent database modules
in our award-winning Reference Suite site: The World News
Digest at Facts.com, Issues and Controversies, Today’s Science and the
World Almanac Reference Database as well as the new site, Issues and
Controversies in American History and our Facts for Learning site for
younger users with modules for grades 2-5 (Primary) and grades 5 and
above (Middle School). Information on all databases can be found on our
company site, www.facts.com ( http://www.facts.com/ ) which also
includes our latest news and reviews as well as reproducible user
support materials.
