Harry Chan has shared an Alpha test link to the new Cerf with us for comments or suggestions. We ask that you please do not share with teachers or students at this time. I am sure, however, that Mr. Chan would be interested in librarian feedback or comments from librarians via email or at our conference with him next week.

Greetings to all

Thought we should send you a link to the CERF revisions that have been
done. At this rate of development, (... picking up speed)... we think
it is quite possible that we can have this ready for students and
teachers to use around mid February....

Please ask folks not to communicate this internal link to anyone
else... we would appreciate any comments or suggestions for
improvements. This link will take you to the CERF search page. The
introductory page Flash animations will be ready later, this week... I.e. the
official entry and login page. At this point, the interface allows for
basic CERF database searches, subpage displays, links to NYS standards
at the moment, bibliographies (printing & email),   Some of the tabs
and links in the records do not work yet (as of Sunday 3:30 PM)....
but will be activated over the next few days.  The look and feel are a
vast improvement... and there is more to come.
