Due to the leaking roof on our BOCES campus the OPALS server will experience downtime.
We hope to have it up again as soon as conditions permit.
Like Mark Twain said, everyone complains about the weather but no one is doing anything about it.

The original Time Warner Internet/GroupWise outage will not be occurring at 3 PM tomorrow and is very tentatively scheduled for 4 PM on Tuesday.  Stay tuned for more info on this.
 
We will be taking down all servers this evening at varying times to keep the computer room cool.  The roof is leaking above the servers and we have them draped in plastic.  It does not take long for 14 servers to create an amazing amount of heat under the plastic.  Rather than overheat our hard drives I have opted to take them down.  I will bring them back up starting at 6 am in Friday morning.  
 
The GroupWise server will not be back up as it has already been scheduled for a server upgrade Friday through Monday.  GroupWise, GroupWise Web Access, and Blackberry Users will have no email/synching during this time.  I will announce on Monday when we are back up.
