 This news in from our liaisons with the S.U. Center for Digital Literacy.
Consider getting participating in this exciting program with students in your school!
 
We are happy to announce our 2008 featured artist, award winning  
children's author - Uma Krishnaswami. Her titles are appropriated for  
grades pre-k through 8 and communicate the Southeast Asian-American  
experience and culture.  Topics range from 'ghosts in the closet' to  
the Indian Moonsoon. Please see the attached flyer and booklist for  
more information about Ms. Krishnaswami and the E*LIT Competition.

Please distribute the attached info to your group of librarians. If  
there is interest, we can consider a video conference, etc. Please  
also let them know we have (limited) titles available for those  
librarians who wish to participate.
