There has been some interest in extending the trial of Hoover’s
Academic and First Research. The company has extended the trial until
June 20, 2008.

Colleagues,
 
Ralph Rose of Dun & Bradstreet producers of Hoover’s Academic and
Hoover’s First Research haveset up a trial for library media
specialists. I have included descriptions of the respective online
resources, access information, log-ins and passwords. Both Marie and
Ralph are very helpful with content questions and they will answer any
questions that you or members of your SLS may pose about any
subscriptions that you may have had in the past.  They are enthused
about working with SLSA. Please be aware that these resources are for
High School students. 
 
The trials began on May 1st and will run through May 30th.  The trial
information for each product is below. For information about these
resources please contact either Ralph Rose at (800)-526-0651 EXT. 6752
or 973-605-6752 or Marie Rowe at (800)-526-0651- EXT 6704 or
973-605-6704. 
 
As an aside, the pricing structure is set up in the spirit of true
consortial pricing, the more high schools that buy in NY State the
pricing for  all of us will decrease. We will be alerted through Diane
or me if there are price decreases.
