Dear friends of Gay Smith,
 
This announcement comes to you because you may remember working with
Gay Smith during the time she worked as Elementary School Librarian at
Sherburne-Earlville. 
 
Sherburne Public Library was the last library that Gay worked at. She
was our Director and then a member of our Board of Trustees for many
years. We’re having a party in Gay’s memory in our library children’s
room on Saturday, November 22. We invite you, especially, because the
party is in honor of Gay, and we know you might like to be there.


If you can, please join library staff, trustees, neighbors, and friends
at our open-house for Gay Smith. We’ll play with all the neat stuff in
the children’s room and tell each other stories about a wonderful woman
who never quit her chosen job of opening minds and sharing great books.
We’ll be downstairs from 10 AM until noon, please stop by!
 
Sherburne Public Library is on Route 80 East in Sherburne Village; it’s
the second building from the light at the corner of State Routes 12 and
80. Coming from Norwich on Route 12, turn right onto 80 at the light and
we’re on your right! Parking is available in the Village lot to your
