Rachel's Challenge will be at Sidney High School on Tuesday, November
4th for three presentations.  There will be a morning presentation at
8:15, with the Friends of Rachel (FOR) training session to follow.  A
second main presentation will be at 12:40 in the afternoon, and there
will be an evening presentation at 6 pm.  All presentations will be at
the Sidney High School Auditorium.  Please see the attached flyer and
promote it in your school!
 
Principals have been notified of this through their listserv from our
principal, Jim Walters.  If there is interest in sending a bus, we do
have limited seating, and it would help us make the program
state-aidable.  Consult with your principal for details. Kerrie Johnston
at BOCES is our liaison with Rachel's Challenge.  Her email is 
JohnstoK at dcmoboces.com. It's a wonderful, inspiring character education
program. (Our girl scout troop went to the evening presentation a couple
of years ago when the program was at B-G, and it was wonderful!)
 
Rachel, though the first fatality of the school violence at Columbine HS
in 1999, lives on through her message of kindness and compassion for
