[Dcmosls] Missing laptop for Sidney High School through DCMO BOCES bins

Hello,

This is an unusual request, but knowing that many library media
specialists also deal with av equipment and the BOCES Bins, I'm sending
this you.

Between March 30th and April 1st, 2009 a Dell Latitude D620 laptop with
DCMO BOCES tag#205918 and serial #23WLFD1 (belonging to Sidney High

School) was misdirected to Sidney Middle School. Realizing it wasn't our
Middle School laptop, I put a large note "Sidney High School" on the
laptop and put it back in the BOCES bin. It never arrived at the Sidney
High School to the best of everyone's knowledge that we've checked with.

(I should have kept it out and hand delivered it to the High
School...but hind sight is always 20/20...). 

It's a long shot, but would it mistakenly have gotten into anyone else's
bin, and been set aside to deal with later? I have checked with Chris,
the laptop repairman at DCMO BOCES Repair (as has our District Computer
Coordinator), and he does not remember it coming back to him. I'm
waiting to talk to Todd the delivery man later today. Any ideas, people?
Could you please check with your AV reps in your building, if you're not
it? I would be very appreciative. Thanks for your help.
