[Dcmosls] Mini-grant program through SLS

Good morning to all,

The DCMO BOCES School Library System (SLS) is proud to present their technology mini-grant offerings for 2009-10.  At this time $500.00 to $2,500.00 in funding will be provided on a first come, first served basis for collaborative projects incorporating the use of technology.  Our goal is to get additional technology resources into your libraries.  The deadline to apply is October 31, 2009.

The history of mini-grant support through the SLS has shown us that there is generally limited participation in the program.  If this again proves to be true we will have additional funding available by November 13 for conference attendance and professional development support.

We have once again attempted to streamline the proposal process as well as the reporting aspect of the program.  If you have intent but find the proposal writing and application process daunting, please contact us so that we can walk you through the process.

Awards will be offered until our available resources have been apportioned.  Please send me an email if you are intending to apply for funding and include an estimate of the amount you will be requesting.  See attached document for application.  Electronic submission of the narrative is required.  A hard copy of the application with required signatures is necessary for consideration of your project(s).
