Dear NY Humanities Council staff member,

During the coming summer I’ll direct an NEH-sponsored interdisciplinary Institute for K-12 teachers, "Mozart’s Worlds," held in Vienna, Austria, from June 21 - July 16, 2010. The Institute is specifically planned for teachers from a broad range of humanities subjects, including art, English, history, languages–especially German, and of course music teachers too. Each participating teacher will receive a stipend of $3300 from the NEH.

This will be my 13th such program for teachers, sponsored by the NEH. More information and application instructions are available at www.udayton.edu/~nehinstitute2010<http://www.udayton.edu/~nehinstitute2010>. Over the years, I’ve had very fine applicants/participants from your state, and I hope you’ll be able to forward this invitation to apply to other interested teachers, and/or post it on your web site.

Many thanks in advance, and best wishes for a wonderful 2010!
